We asked Alpenglow Ranch owner Larry Ford to tell us more.

Alpenglow Ranch is an upscale clothing optional bed & breakfast with resort type
amenities in Central Oregon.
What is special about Alpenglow Ranch and your guests?
Many things make Alpenglow Ranch unique and special. First of all our guests can enjoy a very private nudist experience on our 51 acres and yet we are located only 10 minutes from downtown Bend – a major resort city in Central Oregon.
Secondly, the amenities rival a major resort. A beautiful infinity edge pool overlooking the Cascade Mountains and a 70 foot open flume water slide is the focal point for summer activities.
A pool side hot tub adjacent to 3 waterfalls, a large deck for sunbathing, a firepit and a large outdoor kitchen with barbecue make relaxing by the pool the ultimate summertime experience.
Another six person hot tub with Cascade Mountain views is open year round and sits adjacent to the guest bedrooms.
Gourmet breakfasts are served every morning in our dining room overlooking the mountains.
For whatever reason, first time nudists seemed to be drawn to us as they make up about half of our new guests. In speaking with these individuals, priorities seem to include privacy, just one or two other couples, fashionable accommodations and proximity to Bend. Almost all have an extremely positive first time experience.
There is never any pressure. Our motto is, “Whatever you’re comfortable with.”
Our core mission for the Ranch is to provide a place where adults can refresh, recharge and relax and take a break from the pressures of daily life.
We also feel it is important to be affiliated with well known organizations that reflect our values. We are a participating business with the American Association of Nude Recreation and a member of the Clothing Optional Home Network which has clothing optional bed and breakfast homes throughout the country,
In all, the combination of an upscale beautiful home, privacy, glorious views and resort type amenities make Alpenglow Ranch a wonderful destination for the first time or seasoned nudist.
What accommodations are available at Alpenglow Ranch?
In terms of accommodations, Alpenglow Ranch offers several options. Our primary offering is our 2 bedrooms in the main house – each with a queen bed and private bath.
Guests are welcome anywhere in the home and may enjoy two living rooms – one with a wood stove for those colder winter days, a big screen TV, a huge DVD collection and a massage chair.
For a reduced rate, we also offer two RV spaces, both with power and water.
Those staying in their own motor home also enjoy the gourmet breakfasts and all the outdoor amenities.
What activities and special events are available at Alpenglow Ranch?
At Alpenglow Ranch, you can be as active as you want and never leave the
property. We offer private hiking trails, a pickleball court, and a nine hole disk golf
course. All may be enjoyed without clothing.
We also have an incredible licensed massage therapist on call and a professional yoga instructor who will lead naked yoga classes.
Of course, during the summer, pool time fun and racing down the water slide are often highlights of a warm summer day.
Why is nudism / naturism an important and healthy choice?
With experience hosting both a traditional B&B and a clothing optional one, we have found that overall our clothing optional guests tend to be much happier individuals. We surmise much of this has to do with positive self esteem and ahealthy body image.
We also find our clothing optional guests are much more genuine and open. We engage in deep, meaningful conversations with these individuals much more quickly and we have cultivated many strong and lasting friendships.
Nudism has certainly been a healthy choice for us and I believe most of our guests would report the same.
