Located on Florida's beautiful Space Coast just minutes from legendary Cape Canaveral, the Kennedy Space Center and the world famous Cocoa Beach, Playalinda Beach in the Canaveral National Seashore is one of the the area residents' best kept secrets.
Parking lot 13 is just steps away from where 100 or so men and women suntan nude every day of the week - even more on weekends!
Even though public nudity is not legal in Brevard county, residents have been going nude here for decades and park rangers drive by on four-wheelers and either wave or stop and say hello.
We've enjoyed many sunny days at Playalinda beach.
The Canaveral National Seashore consists of 57,661 acres on the Atlantic coast of Florida approximately 25 miles south of Daytona Beach and about 50 miles east of Orlando.
The Canaveral National Seashore is open daily from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Lots 12 and 13 provide parking for clothing optional beach enjoyment.
Sexual activity of any kind will not be tolerated and will be reported to Park Rangers who escort offenders off the beach in handcuffs. This inappropriate and rare sexual conduct threatens Nudist and Naturist access.
Park Entrance Fees:
* Pedestrian or Bicycle - $10.00
Per person or per bicycle, valid for 7 days.
* Vehicle Entrance Fee - $20.00
Per vehicle fee (cars, mini-vans, etc..), valid for 7 days.
* Motorcycles - $15.00
The motorcycle entrance fee is valid for 7 days and is a per motorcycle fee.
* Walk-in/Bicycle-in Per Person - $10.00
* Pedestrians entering the park on foot or bicycle will pay $10 per person. Valid for 7 days.
* Commercial Tour Vehicles - $100.00
A commercial tour is defined as consisting of one or more persons traveling on an itinerary that has been packaged, priced or sold for leisure or recreational purposes by an organization that realizes financial gain through the provisions of the service. (Costs vary based on design capacity of vehicle, and range from $25 to $100).
* Annual Pass: $80
(Current U.S. Military Annual Pass: Free)
(4th Grade Pass for U.S. students in fourth grade: Free)
(Senior Pass: $80 lifetime $20 annual)
(Access Pass: Free)
(Volunteer Pass: Free)
